Happy Gilmore

Happy Gilmore is one of the first movies that the actor Adam Sandler starred in. It is about a hockey player, named Happy Gilmore, who is actually not very good at hockey. He wants to be in the National Hockey League, but can not even make it into the amateur league of hockey. He is pretty content in life until his grandmother's house is taken away from the IRS. His grandparents built that house and unless Happy can raise over $300,000 in a couple months, his grandmother will lose her house forever. Happy one day makes a bet that he can hit a golf ball further than another guy. This is the first time Happy has ever picked up a golf club, when he hits the ball it goes about 400 yards. No one can beleive it. Happy finds out that he can hit the ball further than pretty much anyone else on the planet. Happy decides to join the pro tour golf tournament and see if he can win enough money to save his grandmothers house. The only thing is if he can control his temper enough to stay on the tour. Happy Gilmore is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It is a movie you will quote over and over. The movie came out in the early 1990's and I still hear people quote Happy Gilmore all the time! I rated the movie with a B. The movie lacks good acting and a solid story, but makes it up with solid comedy. This is probably my favorite Adam Sandler movie, And if upon haven't seen it already, you are crazy!
